Grit Knives Meets Whitetails Unlimited: A Packed House, A Good Cause, and Probably Too Much Food

Grit Knives Meets Whitetails Unlimited: A Packed House, A Good Cause, and Probably Too Much Food

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that deer hunters know how to show up—especially when there’s a good cause, some solid prizes, and a buffet table groaning under the weight of too much smoked meat. The Monroe City, MO Whitetails Unlimited Chapter Banquet was no exception. The place was packed wall to wall with hardcore whitetail hunters, all there to support conservation, swap stories (most of which probably stretched the truth), and maybe walk away with some killer gear.

This year, I had the honor of donating some Grit Knives gear to one of my longtime supporters for the event. I figured, what better place for my knives than in the hands of folks who actually know how to put them to work? Whether it’s processing a deer, opening a celebratory beverage, or convincing their hunting buddy that no, they actually did see a 14-pointer last season, I know these blades will get plenty of action.

The energy in the room was next-level. Raffles, auctions, and enough camo in one place to make you wonder if you accidentally walked into a tree stand convention. The best part? Seeing firsthand how much this community gives back to conservation efforts—because without them, the next generation won’t have the same opportunities to chase big bucks and make memories in the woods.

Check out some shots from the event below—wall-to-wall hunters, cold drinks, and probably the best excuse to get out of the house this side of deer season. Huge thanks to everyone who showed up, supported the cause, and maybe, just maybe, walked away with some new Grit Knives gear.

Until next time—keep your blades sharp and your hunting stories believable.
