Making Things More Unique Without Losing Value
Share
One of my goals for 2026 is simple. Make things more unique without making them more expensive or complicated. I don’t believe good gear needs to be precious. It needs to be useful, honest, and worth what you paid for it.
That mindset is what led me back to the Beckwourth.
The knife itself hasn’t changed. Same reliable design, same purpose built feel, same tool meant to be carried and used. What has changed is the story it carries. I created new artwork for this run, a euro mounted mule deer. It’s a nod to time spent in the field, early mornings, cold hands, and the kind of work that stays with you long after the season ends.
Along with the new artwork, I added new stickers to the mix. Small details, but meaningful ones. Things you can put on a water bottle, a tool box, or a truck window as a reminder of where you’ve been and what you value.
This isn’t about chasing trends or reinventing things that already work. It’s about adding character and intention while keeping the price honest. Good value doesn’t mean cutting corners. It means being thoughtful about where effort goes and making sure it shows up where it matters.
I’ll be sharing a box opening video soon so you can see exactly what comes with the Beckwourth and how it all comes together. No surprises, no fluff. Just a solid knife, new artwork, and a few extra touches that make it feel personal.
Tools for adventure, in the field, on the job, and everywhere between.
