From California to Greenland, The Grit Crew Gets It Done
Share
One of the coolest things about running Grit Knives is seeing where the gear ends up and what people are doing with it.
We're right in the middle of fall hunting season, and my favorite emails are the ones that show up with photos and videos of customers out in the field. There's something pretty great about seeing a knife that started as an idea on my desk end up miles away, helping someone make the most of a hunt.
I've got a few good ones to share.
First up, Nate in Bishop, California.

Nate harvested this nice California blacktail in the B2 zone. Looks like he's putting the Hunter's Scalpel to work on the euro mount, too. That's one of the things I love about this little knife. It's not just along for the ride, it's there for the work that comes after the hunt.
Next, Gavan all the way out in Florida.
Gavan sent over this awesome waterbuck harvested with his bow. That's a pretty incredible animal, and it's always cool to see the different kinds of hunts our customers are getting into. California blacktails to Florida bowhunting, the Grit crew gets around.

And last but definitely not least, Hendrik in Greenland.
My buddy Hendrik sent over footage of the kill shot on his muskox. You don't see a hunt like that every day. Greenland, muskox, and a whole different kind of adventure. Pretty hard to beat.
These are the kinds of things that make running this business worthwhile. Sure, I love designing gear, drawing new graphics, and getting new products into your hands. But seeing that gear out in the real world, being used by good people doing what they love, is the best part of it.
So keep those photos and videos coming. Deer, elk, pigs, waterbuck, muskox, or whatever you've been chasing this season. Send them my way. I love seeing where Grit Knives ends up, and if you send me something good, there's a pretty good chance I'll share it here.
Happy trails,
