Some knives earn a permanent spot in your pocket. The BLK_OUT earned its place years ago.
As one of the first three knives ever released by Grit Knives, the BLK_OUT helped define what the brand would become, practical tools built to be used, not admired from a shelf. This updated version stays true to that original mission while bringing a few meaningful improvements to the table.
The most noticeable change is the aggressive tanto blade profile. It delivers a strong tip, clean piercing performance, and the versatility needed for everything from breaking down boxes and cutting cordage to handling the unexpected tasks that come with everyday life. Whether you're on a jobsite, at camp, or carrying it through your daily routine, the BLK_OUT is built to work.
The blade is crafted from durable D2 steel, offering excellent edge retention and toughness. The textured G10 handle provides a confident grip in wet, dirty, or cold conditions, while the ball-bearing action delivers smooth, reliable deployment. A deep-carry pocket clip keeps the knife discreetly tucked away and ready when you need it.
Like the original, the BLK_OUT isn't flashy. It's dependable. The kind of knife that gets carried every day because it consistently earns its keep.
